Word Solitaire is distributed as a shareware program, which means you can "try it before you buy it." You are free to while away the hours playing up to 45 addictive hands of the game. But at the end of the evaluation period, you'll need to make a decision: either delete it from your computer or register it for $20.

Of course, nothing disatrous is going to happen if you don't register your copy of Word Solitaire. But some good things will happen if you do! For instance:
* The 45-game limit will be removed.
* The custom dictionary's add/remove buttons will be enabled.
* The 10-second shareware reminders will go away.
* You'll be entitled to free upgrades to future versions.
